We have some exciting news at Apex Animal Hospital! It’s not new news, as some of you have discovered this wonderful tool already, but we wanted to let the rest of you know about a handy option for convenient access to your pet’s medical records while on the go.
Our website has a fully functional mobile site that works on your mobile devices (you may even be on it now!). Using this site, you can call the hospital, send us an email, get directions, and more. The best feature though, is the ability to access your pet’s medical records 24 / 7 / 365! Does someone need proof of vaccinations (boarding, grooming, day care, etc.)? Is your pet having a health problem while out of town and the vet in your location needs important information? Is it the middle of the night, you are at the emergency hospital, and you cannot remember the name of your pet’s medication? Once logged in, all of these items are there for you.
We highly recommend adding a link to the site on your device’s home screen so it is there whenever you may need it. This is not an app in any way and does not install anything on your device. It is simply a quick link to our website for your convenience, and let’s face it, it’s really cool to have a button on your mobile device to access your pet’s medical records! You can even add a photo and print out a handy I.D. card!
A few items of note:
- You must be logged in to the site to view medical records. The first time you log in, you will need to provide an email address and password. The email you provide MUST match the one we have on file. If you are in any way unsure which email we have, please contact us and we can verify or change what is on file.
- Records are updated nightly, not in real time. Any items that are done one day will show up the next day.

For Apple users:
- Open your internet browser and go to www.myapexvet.com
- Press the “share” button at the bottom of the screen (looks like a box with an arrow poking out).
- Select “Add to Home Screen”
- You will be prompted to name your new icon
- Enjoy your personal link to your pet’s medical records!
For Android users:
- Open your internet browser and go to www.myapexvet.com
- Press the 3-dot icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Add to Homescreen”
- You will be prompted to name your new icon.
